Note

Travellers are requested to carry 4 copies of their original passport size photos along with their original photo ID (at least 4 copies) in order to obtain a permit to visit Tsomgo Lake and Nathu La.

Nathu La Pass: A visit to Nathu La Pass is entirely dependent on the permits you get as well as the condition of roads. A special permission is requested from the Indian Army prior to entering the Nathu La Pass. Remember that the pass remain closed for visits on Mondays and Tuesdays every week. The pass also remains shut for tourism during the winter season.
