When it comes to exploring the undisturbed natural beauty of the north east, then nothing is better than availing the scenic Assam Tour Package. The state is known for its rich wildlife heritage, various plantations, incredible view points and unique culture. Assam is a sight for the sore eyes and a breath of fresh air. If you wish to explore this untouched wonder of India, then head over for 9 days and 8 nights of pure fun, peace and adventure.
Upon your arrival in Guwahati you will be greeted by our tour representative who will then help you get in checked in to the hotel you have booked for. The remainder of the day will be free for you to relax and spend in leisure. Dinner will be served followed by an overnight stay.
Poste breakfast you will be checked out of your hotel in Guwahati and made to head for your next destination in Jorhat in a private vehicle. On reaching you will be checked in to your hotel here after which you will be free to roam around and explore Garh Ai which is the main commercial hub of Jorhat town. You can even shop for souvenirs like Indian fabrics and handicrafts. Finally by the end of the day you will be headed back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast you will be taken for an excursion to the nearby town of Sivasagar which is 60 kms away. You will be exploring the culture and heritage history of this place. Remains of Ahom dynasty like the man-made artificial lake, palaces etc. will give you a glimpse into the rich history of this place. Visitation and Darshan of Shiva Dol will also take place along with exploring Kareng Ghar and Talatal Ghar etc.
Later on you will be taken back to Jorhat to explore the nearby tea gardens. Other visits in Jorhat will also include gymkhana club, oldest golf course in Asia etc. finally you will be headed back to your hotel in Jorhat for dinner and an overnight stay.
Early in the morning you will be checked out of your hotel and taken to your next destination on the itinerary at Kaziranga national park. On the way you will be driven up to the ferry point of Majuli at Nimati Ghat. On reaching the point you will be able to board the ferry for Majuli which is the biggest river island in the world. You will be able to cross the mighty Brahmaputra River on the ferry to reach the iconic island. On reaching the island you will be visiting the Satras. From here later on you will be driven to Kaziranga national park. From the arrival point you will be driven up to your jungle resort in Kaziranga. You will be spending the night here.
Early in the morning you will be taken for an elephant safari inside the forest. You will be accompanied with a tour guide from the starting point of the safari. This will be done really early in the morning and after the elephant safari you will be taken back to your resort for breakfast. After breakfast your jeep safari tour will start off for wildlife viewing in the central zone.
After the safari until lunch time, you will be taken back to your resort for lunch. Post lunch your 2nd jeep safari ride of the day will take place. This will be the time for you to go for a jeep safari in the western zone. You can also stop over at the donga viewpoint. Finally you will be headed back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Post breakfast early in the morning you will be taken for a jeep safari experience to the central range of Kaziranga national park. By lunch time you will be headed to your resort for lunch break. Finally after lunch you will be taken for a birding tour to Burapahar Range. After the birding tour you will be headed back to your resort here for relaxation, leisure, dinner and an overnight stay.
Early in the morning post breakfast you will be checked out of your hotel to go strolling around the river bank along with a visit to rubber plantation. Later on you will be made to head towards your next destination in Tezpur. On reaching Tezpur you will be checked in to your hotel here where upon check in you will be taken for some local sightseeing tour of the city of Tezpur.
After this you will be headed back to your hotel to relax, eat dinner and stay overnight.
After breakfast you will be checked out of your hotel and headed to your next destination in Guwahati which will be your way back. On reaching Guwahati you will be checked in to your hotel and taken for some brief sightseeing and shopping expedition in Guwahati. A visit to Kamakhya Devi Temple in the afternoon will also take place. If there is time left then you can also go watch the sunset while on a brief boating cruise on the Brahmaputra River.
Post breakfast you will be checked out of your hotel and transferred to the Guwahati airport or railway station. The drop off at your point of departure will mark the end of your scenic Assam your package with us.
