On your arrival at Dimapur airport you’ll be received by our tour representative who then drives you down to Kohima. On reaching Kohima we check into the camp. The unique traditional welcome by the striking Naga tribal communities will prove to be a memorable experience. You can spend the evening at leisure soaking in the natural beauty and tranquility of the place and feasting on delectable snacks and dinner. Night stay in Kohima camp.
Next morning post breakfast we proceed for Kisama village ground; the venue for Hornbill festival. For the next few hours get ready to get dazed and thoroughly amused by the various musical and dance presentations, exhibitions, contests and sport activities like wresting, archery, bamboo, climbing, beauty contests etc. These pompous activities will be just enough to set your adrenaline racing. Also, you can spend some time visiting the various stalls around where incredible Naga art and craft products are sold. From those stalls, you can collect souvenirs for your home and for your loved ones. Last but not the least, plunge into the delicious authentic Naga cuisine served at the festival ground. Towards the end of the day return back to Kohima camp for dinner and night stay.
